Is Syria still a 'sovereign nation'?
We have Russia in there propping up assad apparently
in hopes of getting a warm water port . . .
And we have the stinking Iranians in there trying to
establish a base of operations for launching another
attack on Israel. Not to mention Turkey trying to
claim a chunk of Northern Syria.

Do we tolerate ISIL and their attempt to be the worlds
largest terrorist sponsoring country?

What an ugly mess this is . . .

Zim.

Thanks Zim!

With that in mind,
should the U.S. be meddling in the affairs of a sovereign nation? What I mean is WHY should we be there to begin with? IS THERE some really strong and undeniable reason for us to be screwing around in Syria while we have bus loads of our own problems right here?

My personal view at this point is to not get entangled with this kind of stuff. I can see nothing good coming from it...
