Welcome back, De.
Good to 'see' you again.

As for that cold ice and snow. . . . you know the drill.
(What happened to that man made global warming?)

Anyway, good of you to drop in.

T'weren't me! Bob may be able to tell who did it based on his logs of IP addresses. I'm stressing the word MAY. I don't know if he retains that info.

It's disappointing how things have almost collapsed in my absence. Sad

If it's any consolation, things haven't gone smoothly for me either. During the move Sunday, we were hit by an ice storm in Connecticut and chose to spend the night in the parking lot of a Hartford Wal-Mart. We bought sleeping bags and were warm enough, but it was far from comfortable. Continuing on Monday, my wife was *almost* unable to get the minivan to our property. The road was too slick. It took about ten attempts to get over two of the hills. Then the moving van got stuck in the mud and snow at the top of our land... still a hundred feet from the house. We packed it in and decided to deal with it the next day. Six hours after our arrival, we found our 23-year-old (or older) cockatiel dead in his cage. My wife said she'd seen him five minutes earlier and he seemed fine. He was more her pet than mine, so she was pretty upset. Then the neighborhood lost power.

Tuesday, we BARELY got the moving van to to move , completed the unloading and returned the U-haul just in time (30 minutes before it was due back at 4PM).

It's been a stressful but successful move. My back has been hurting but it's getting better. Unpacking will probably take months.
