That's an idea! Use a pressure washer on it De!

The hole idea is also great ! WHY not plant an apple tree? You could grow you some apples you can pick and eat.. Whatever type apples you all like. Washington State or Michigan don't have to be the only places you can get a nice off the tree apple from. That climate should be great for apple trees.

Plus they look nice. You still need to protect it from deer but even they will eat the apples that fall to the ground so you are helping them out as well.

Just a thought....

Re: “Those things would make you a real long lasting rock garden or boundary fence outlines or anything else you can think of to do with them.”

I can't think of anything useful to do with it. *MAYBE I'll drag it near my garden. I don't know.

I seriously considered making the hole a little larger, then shoving the rock back into it. After all, I have *two* issues right now: What to do with the rock, and what to do with the hole.

Then it occurred to me that this hole isn't far from where I put my two cherry trees some years back. It took me a long time to dig the holes for those trees. I might as well use the hole that the rock has provided, right?

So that's the plan for the hole. One of my two cherry trees died (due to deer). I'll plant another one and put a cage around it this time.

The rock, though . . . I don't know. It's not a particularly pretty rock! Maybe once the rain has washed the dirt off I'll like it a bit more.
