You just tossed your tomato seeds out on the ground?
I've had 'volunteer' cherry tomatoes grow that way.
But I usually start my tomatoes inside . . . then
plant them outside after they have some size to them.

Or you could buy your tomato plants already partially
grown up. (Lowes, Home Depot, and just about any
garden store should have them.)

Here's how it's laid out and, if you can read it, what I planted.

The tomatoes will be a bust. I waited too long to plant them. I threw the seeds in anyway. Maybe something miraculous will happen in this fine forest soil.
