...this nomination isn't about who is the best candidate for the court even though it ought to be. What it's about is who can Trump get the senate to approve. The Senator from Utah could probably get thru, but we can't spare a republican senator right now. The next most likely to get thru would be one of the fem judges.

I was thinking along the same lines. I'd nominate a 30 year old if I could find a good one. Maybe even younger than that.
