I have lived in AZ since 1990 and have been ro both north and south rims multiple times, but have never been to the bottom, let lone hiking across it. You certainly have some beautiful pictures of it. Thanks for sharing.
I really like the Grand Canyon. I was married in 1981 . . . Separated in 1983 . . .
And divorced in 1984. And in 1985 I decided I REALLY wanted to go see the Grand Canyon.
So I went and saw a travel agent, and did some research. I went to Las Vegas
and the South Rim. I had a blast. I even rode the mule to the bottom of the Canyon
and spent the night at Phantom Ranch.
I liked it so much I went back in 1986 and hiked all the war across the Canyon.
I hiked across the Canyon again in 1988. Then didn't really get back there
to about 2012. These pictures are from that trip. IN 2012 I just
hiked down to the bottom from the South Rim, spent the night at
Phantom Ranch, then hiked back out. I found the girls along the
trail, and Mr. Fox was just posing for me after I had breakfast.
