Re: “Thats a great deal on the camper shell. Those struts are like $30 a piece,,,,,,,,,,,,,”

I've wanted a shell for the truck for ten years. I had them on both of my light pickups when I lived in California, but I noticed that NO ONE in Virginia has them on their bigger trucks. Hence, there haven't been any used ones for sale.

I'm loving life in New Hampshire. Folks aren't so pretentious as they were in Virginia. If truck shells are deemed ugly or tacky, NO ONE CARES. That suits me to a tee. I'm one for practicality, not for "fitting in." If everyone else wears Levis and Nikes to their parties, I'll show up in Wranglers and no-name tennis shoes.

I'm really enjoying the flea markets and yard sales around here. The merchandise I'm seeing is different from what I'd find in Virginia - there are lots of snow blowers, gardening tools and equipment, hunting merchandise, etc. Things I need. I'd almost never find that kind of stuff in Virginia.

And, yep, I've been buying quite a bit. I still need, however, to replace most of my furniture. As a tenant, I've lived for years with cheap crap from Ikea or worse. Now it's time to toss the junk and get some nicer things.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
