...if ya put three more in there they will get tangled (see murphy's law) Just put one in there and every time ya put something else new in the pipe pull in a new pull cord with it.

Good idea. In fact, maybe I should use the current draw string to pull about three more through. I could use distinctive knots (one, two or three knots on each end of a string), then tie the strings to poles on each end so the internet guys will pull one and only one cord.

I'm also going to visit Home Depot and pick up "U" joints for the conduit ends. Your suggestion, I believe.

BTW, my wife told me for the first time (I think) today that the connection we're getting is DSL. Yuck. At least it's cheap. $30/mo, with a 25 megabit download speed. Uploading, though, is typically awful with DSL. I used to do a lot of that with the many youtube videos I was posting. Not so much anymore.
