Ya know,
I have a 'postcard' sitting here which is titled "Politicians should listen
to Virginia women and keep birth control affordable".
I'd like to slap the women shown - because they obviously do not have
a clue. Whenever government gets involved in anything, the price
goes up.
You want affordable birth control? Have at least three manufacturers
making similar products and all of them for sale in any drug store.
Women would then get the cheapest possible price because any manufacturer
which tries to raise the price will lose market share and profits as their
customers buy the other guys product.
Seriously now. 'Government' passed that 'affordable health care bill' . . .
What happened? Insurance (and health care costs) skyrocketed.
