Good job there farmer De..

All those yellow flowers mean more zucchini is coming.
They will grow from where those flowers are...

My wife and I eat a lot of zucchini. We slice it thin and then stir fry it with a little olive oil and some garlic and lemon and butter. Maybe a little parsley and chives.

Great little side dish of vegetables....

She also makes some MEAN zucchini bread with chocolate and peanut butter chips....

MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. Getting hungry now...

I just harvested my first zucchini. They should start coming quickly now. I've got about twenty plants. According to Burpee, I'm ahead of schedule. The seed packet said to plan on harvesting in 55 days. That would mean August 8th... This zucchini is actually a little big, though they can be grown the length of your forearm and stuffed if you like 'em that way.
