So here we go again, the fire near Redding, is endangering a nieces home, another niece is in the area camping, it jumped the Sacramento River and is now in the town of Redding. Meanwhile my Granddaughter and her Girl Scout campers were evacuated, sheets been a camp counselor for the last few summers, they shuffled them into Orange County for now.. If the air clears, they may be able to do the class next week, but.. Yosemite is closed, it seems the whole West is aflame..

Meantime here, near the coast its been cooler, maybe 70 yesterday.. But the Valley... nasty hot..
