If you’ve been following recent media discussions you’ve likely heard comments that before and certainly since the Helsinki meeting DT has been following a “script” that, without need for much imagination, could have been written for him at the Kremlin.
Disrupt American alliances - particularly NATO
Alienate leaders of key American allies - particularly Canada, Germany, the UK and France
Start an economic (trade/tariff) war with principle trading partners - particularly China, Canada, Mexico and the EU
Express willingness to meet with Iranian and other hostile leadership without pre-conditions
Enflame American supporters regarding pertinent on-going intelligence and criminal investigations
Defame, ridicule and criticize key U.S. intelligence and investigative agencies
Promote MAGA but take no action that improves any aspect of American business or infrastructure
Attack all manifestations of First Amendment rights - particularly Freedom of the Press
Intentionally misrepresent issues such as immigration, need for a border wall, criminal gangs and so forth
Deny existence of and take no action to counter alleged or actual interference with the American voting process
This is precisely the kind of actions we were taught to undertake regarding our enemies if we served in ‘certain' specialties as U.S. Army Intelligence officers and were in the business of “recruiting” assistance from people in enemy countries.
Hmmm. . . .what was it we called a person recruited to do this?
