Similar, started from zero, really, good Union job that stayed ahead of the curve, lost a chunk in telecom, but Apple came through nicely, more than making up for that loss, and since selling off the last bit, losses to offset gains for life... Supporting GK's is the best, getting then through college with no student loans, a huge jumpstart neither of us had in our early days...

Never know what is in store, but be flexible enough to adapt! So many great people in the world, never let the creeps get ys down, stuff 'em back under their rocks.

Egotistical, bigoted AH's deserve any and all smashing treatment the sane can lay on 'em!

An amazing world, enjoy your freedoms! Support the good guys!!

My wife and I are lucky. I have two defined benefit pensions which brings in nearly $2,200/month as well as our two Social Security checks for another $4,000/month. And we still have investments and IRA's totally close to a million plus nearly that much equity in our home. And it was all earned by us. Never won the lotto nor inherited much from our parents.
