CNN Anchors Astonished At Footage Of Hail Falling - Declares It Is Clear Evidence Of Climate Change

A CNN anchor declared that footage of hail falling from the sky was proof of climate change Tuesday morning.

CNN aired footage of large hail falling in a Colorado zoo during the morning show "New Day." The footage showed large balls of hail hitting a tank of water in the zoo. The zoo closed after multiple people and animals were injured during the event.

CNN anchor Alisyn Camerota watched the footage in disbelief asking, "Is it August in Colorado as well?" ...

No, Alisyn ... it's August in Utah, Wyoming, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Arizona ... but, it's March in Colorado.

According to Weather Bug, hail is not uncommon in the summer.

Hail is most common in mid-latitudes during early summer where surface temperatures are warm enough to promote the instability associated with strong thunderstorms, but the upper atmosphere is still cool enough to support ice. This is why it can still hail in the summertime - the air at ground level may be warm, but it can still be cold enough higher up in the sky.

Still, Camerota immediately moved to blame the event on global warming. "That's violent weather," Camerota said, "And, you know, some people don't think that climate change is necessarily happening."

"Bears hate it, too," Berman said, agreeing with his co host.
