Trump May Lose Star on Walk of Fame, But Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey Won't

http://pjmedia.com/trending/trump-may-lose-star-on-walk-of-fame-but-harvey-weinstein-and-kevin-spacey-wont/

We get it. Hollywood doesn't like Donald Trump. He says things they don't like and he doesn't seem to care that they don't like it. However, he still got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. It couldn't have always been bad, right?

Well, that was until someone destroyed the star. The blatantly political act may have resulted in vandalism charges for the perpetrator, but it may also lead to "punishment" from Hollywood.

As NBC News reported, "The West Hollywood City Council voted Monday night to urge the removal of President Donald Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the city's mayor said."

"The West Hollywood City Council did not pass the resolution because Donald Trump is a conservative or a Republican. Earning a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is an honor. When one belittles and attacks minorities, immigrants, Muslims, people with disabilities or women - the honor no longer exists," said West Hollywood Mayor John Duran in an email to the network.

In other words, it's not that Trump is conservative or Republican, but that he said mean things.

Meanwhile, Harvey Weinstein's star remains unmolested and not in any danger of being removed, despite the many complaints against the mogul ranging from sexual harassment (which he's admitted to) all the way to rape. Weinstein did far more than say mean things. He actually engaged in behavior that is reprehensible, and that's just what he's admitted to.

Weinstein isn't the only despicable person who still has his star. Kevin Spacey has been cited in numerous complaints of sexual misconduct. Director Brett Ratner appears to have followed Weinstein's example with several actresses; Natasha Henstridge said that she was forced to perform oral sex on him.

Their stars aren't at risk.

But hey, a lot of his is mostly allegation, right? Maybe they don't want to remove stars over mere allegations unless it's for saying the wrong thing.

If so, I have just two words in response.

Bill. Cosby. ...
