South Carolina Girl Tries To Evade Arrest By Telling Cops She's A "Very Clean, White Girl"

A young South Carolina woman was arrested this weekend after she drove through a stop sign on the night she was celebrating her birthday.
Lauren Elizabeth Cutshaw, who is about to turn 33, was pulled over at 1:45 a.m. local time in Bluffton, South Carolina, after she reportedly sped through a four-way traffic stop. She was allegedly driving under the influence and was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia at the time of her arrest.
But cops say she tried to tell them she shouldn't be arrested because she's a "very clean, thoroughbred, white girl," adding, "You're a cop. You should know what that means."
Cutshaw claimed to have only had two glasses of wine at the time of her arrest, despite having a BAC of .18. She also allegedly told cops that "She maintained perfect grades during all of her school years, was a cheerleader and a member of a sorority. Her partner is also a cop," the New York Post reports.
But police aren't buying this list of excuses.
"Making statements such as these as a means to justify not being arrested are unusual in my experience as a law enforcement officer and I believe further demonstrate the suspect's level of intoxication," a police report reads.
Looks like the law might not see color after all.
