America was never great. It did some great things, medicine, science, space, the moon, and a great document, it’s constitution.
But, slavery, the holocaust of Indians, McCartyism, remaining racism and fear of ourselves as immigrants, etc.,, treatment of women as “mothers”, are all major reasons why greatness was never reached, and may never be. It remains to be seen whether we will do it.
So, Mario, saying stuff in this climate, when you aren’t the Dotard, still bites with cretins and mall trash. Look at Obama, he couldn’t wear anything but a dark suit, looking like a caretaker, otherwise he was this or that. That’s what that sour crowd can take, otherwise you are not “American”.
