This is actually the 1st time I've used Dragon since moving to New England.

Does it recognise that accent you have to use when you live in New England? ;-)

Seriously, this is one area where I remain a Luddite. I often work on the computer in the living room while watching TV (as I am now). Talking to the computer would seem out of place. If my wife were to do this, too, it would be officially crazy. Also, I read some newsletters where the writers use Dragon an it often uses the wrong homonym. I want people to know that any mistakes are MINE!

After seeing the system requirements for Dragon NaturallySpeaking 13 premium edition, I decided to buy it. The version I'm currently running works very well, but it doesn't support some of the text codes that I use frequently on AtomicBobs and other sites. The new version does. I'm also looking forward to not having to hold a microphone in front of my mouth while I'm speaking, though it remains to be seen how well my old laptop's built-in microphone actually works with the product.

This is actually the 1st time I've used Dragon since moving to New England. I didn't know where my headset was and wasn't motivated until tonight to look for it. Now that I'm using Dragon again, I'm wondering what took me so long. This is really nice! Being able to narrate instead of having to type everything grows on you.
