What you and the rest of the American population who are above a 60 IQ level understand is that the "Freedom of the Press" under the U.S. Constitution is NOT in any way, shape, or form the same as how libtards view it. Libtards, especially those in the FAKE NEWS lamestream media networks, believe that "Freedom of the Press" means the following:
1. Members of the "press" are extra-special, uniquely privileged individuals who are exempt from laws pertaining to slander, libel, and discovery.
2. Members of the press are the "Praetorian Guard" of the United States, itself, the American way of life, democracy, in general, mom, baseball, and apple pie ... and as such, they are NOT to be barred from invading the personal privacy of ANYONE in their "noble pursuit" of "their truth."
3. Given #2, above, members of the press are larger-than-life HEROES who should be praised and exalted at all times.
4. If members of the press distort, shade, conceal, or even deny (i.e., LIE) the truth, then it absolutely must be for a very good reason ... they're the Praetorians tasked with saving the benighted masses beneath them, after all! ... so, they cannot be criticized, mocked, or ... treasonous horror of horrors ... have their perfidy revealed to the public. Instead, they are to be lauded as "honest, objective journalists" - even when they are, in fact, purveyors of sleazy propaganda and deleterious liars.
5. They are the Fourth Estate, and as such, they are to be considered demi-gods, who should be lavished with fame and fortune. Everyone should hang on their every word because they are our all-knowing, all-caring societal betters.
Reality? Most of them are slimy hacks who publicize their bilge based on their predetermined and prejudicial agenda without even bothering to understand the facts of any situation - even in the unlikely event that they actually possess the personal intellect to do so. And, yes - these seedy, biased, FAKE NEWS propagandists are most certainly the enemy of the American people.
