For years they've allowed non-citizens to vote in Canada, not for members of parliament but for local issues which could impact them, particularly if they were property owners.
And in California, non-citizens in certain parts of the state are now allowed to vote in school board elections, if they have children in those schools. In fact, they can even sit on boards of education under certain conditions.
Initially I supported her, until I heard her stance on the radio today wrt allowing undocumented immigrants vote for state issues. She wants the laws changed so they can.
It was the first I heard of it, the interviewer said the same.
I think its crazy & would give ammo for the republican to hammer her with.
So, I guess Sean Patrick Maloney has my vote, today.
