Well, I get all that, except my pulse, on ye olde 8+, great battery life, but, all these texts are sometimes a pain... My wife, our daughter and I are in one message group, keeping track of stuff, travels, grandly pickups, and a recent variety of family problems as well as scheduling all sorts of things. bing, bang, bing, and worse they both use voice recognition, so instead of a few words, it's a tome, followed by another and so on! So if it's on my wrist, there is no escape! I eventually catch up, but it does get busy at times..
I'll see what the next generation does, maybe it's time.. Not sure we need the LTE versions, VZ will tack on a few bucks for that...
I already use wireless chargers, got tired of waiting for Apple's. Samsung works fine... Batteries have gotten better & better.. I have a couple Powerbeats2's, those tiny batteries last a long time, as well.. Podcasts while I do the gym or walk... Handy...
