I took a look in my garden this morning and found some ripe cherry tomatoes!
I know what you're thinking: "Yeah, yeah. What's the big deal? I had tomatoes in June." But these tomatoes were grown from seeds, and I didn't even plant them until 6/12/2018. So I'm pretty happy.
Folks I talked to said that they "don't know anyone around here who grows tomato from seed." So that makes this that much more satisfying.
These are Burpee Red Currant (Heirloom) tomatoes. Next year, I'll start growing them indoors... about four months sooner.
BTW, the other thing that folks around here say is that it sometimes snows in September. LOL. I better enjoy my tomatoes while I can.
Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months
