...another thing. If ya using a rifle, there is less chance that an innocent bystander is gonna be killed. That's why they send in the SWAT team with rifles instead of a dozen regular cops armed with handguns to roust some scoundrel from his nest.

Let's just observe the obvious ... logic is definitely NOT David Hogg's strong suit.

David Hogg: Kavanaugh is Wrong Because AR-15s Shoot Further than Handguns

On September 5 gun control activist David Hogg suggested AR-15s cannot be used for self-defense because they shoot further than handguns.

He made this suggestion via a tweet which he sent in response Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh's testimony that AR-15s and other semiautomatic rifles are used for "self-defense."

Kavanaugh's full statement was that "handguns and semi-automatic rifles are weapons used for hunting and for self-defense."

But Hogg isolated the words "self-defense" and tried to make a point:

"The effective range of an AR-15 is 1600 feet for comparison your typical handgun is 75 feet if you're shooting somebody from 1600 feet away you're not defending yourself...

...you're hunting.

Make the 2004 Massachusetts assault weapons ban federal law. #BanAssaultWeapons"

Ah, but David ... you infantile moron ... just because an AR-15 can generally be used to hit a target at longer range than a handgun does NOT mean it cannot also be used to hit a target at short range. Wow ... you truly are a mental pygmy!

Just a little over a year ago, here is a prime example of effectively using an AR-15 at short range (within the confines of a house) against home invaders ...

Having an AR-15 was so effective that the family of the home invaders complained that it gave the home owner's son an UNFAIR advantage!!! Well, now ...
