...if anything happened to mz ribit I would get a dog cause I don't like to be alone. I would probably get an older dog from the pound. One that might not outlive me and no one would be around to take over the job.

That is exactly my argument to mrs. micro. Plus when I want to leave and go, we need to worry about where to put the dog. A kennel? More money and likely get sick. More work to clean up after? Not for me..

So I am with ya. Just remember:

Nothing is impossible for the person that DON'T have to do it. (clean up after the pet) (That would be miz micro....)
