I'm glad you like it. The two files ("My Templates" and "September Journal") won't work for you guys since they're Word documents on my computer. I left them in so that you guys can see how to get the browser to open your own files. The technique can be used to open spreadsheets, text files, and probably anything that you normally open by navigating to and clicking on. Since I open these two files frequently, I put them into the menu.

BTW, if you come up with any other great, dynamic websites, please let me know. I'm always on the lookout for interesting places.

Decomposed > I realize that. That's why I just posted the code. Cut and paste it into a text file, then save it with a .html extension.

I just tried doing just that - it was very easy.
I selected all the html text, copied it. Then opened the note-pad program and pasted it into it. Then it
was 'Save As', I gave it the name De_Menu.html and
saved it to the desktop. There it was, with a Firefox
icon. Firefox opened up and presto, there was a
window full of interesting places to go and see.
