Zim,

WHO reported that Rosenstein "wanted to wear a wire" in the first place? WHO broke that "news"?

The New York Slimes ... that's WHO.

Why would the Slimes want to give President Trump ammo to fire Deep State operative, Rod Rosenstein? Because they were desperately hoping that President Trump would fly off the handle, immediately fire him, and make it look like President Trump was somehow "interfering" with Mueller's "Russia, Russia, Russia" Keystone Kops Kaper before the mid-term elections. That's why disgraced, Deep State asshole, Andrew McCabe, is publicly conjecturing breathless "concern" about what a possible Rosenstein departure would mean to the Mueller farce. However, as per usual, the libtard hacks out-"smarted" themselves. President Trump didn't take the bait. If Rosenstein ever seriously considered wearing a wire to a meeting with the President, then that is absolutely, without question, highly legitimate grounds for dismissing him and would certainly cause any honorable man to offer his resignation upon the revelation of such treachery. If Rosenstein resigns, rather than being fired by an understandably irate President, then the lamestream FAKE NEWS media cannot claim (they disingenuously will, anyway!) with a straight face that Rosenstein's departure is tantamount to interference with the Mueller farce by President Trump. If Rosenstein doesn't resign, President Trump can wait until after the mid-term elections are over, and if warranted, give strong consideration to canning him, then.

In a statement, former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe said that "if rumors about Rosenstein's departure are true, I'm deeply concerned" that the Mueller probe could be at risk.

One analyst pointed out that Rosenstein's firing would trigger a "political earthquake": "If Rosenstein is fired or resigns, this will be the last step for Trump before firing Mueller as well. And if this happens, believe me if I say that it will definitely not just be 'noise'... it will be a political earthquake with heavy consequences also on markets."

Interesting.
Considering the economy has markedly improved under Trump . . .
One would think anything cementing Trump in office would be
good news.

Think about it. Ending the Mueller witch hunt would ensure that
Trump can continue with his pro-business agenda. Which should
be good for the stock markets.
