But I do know that the President can not go into
a panic.
I mean, would you have felt better if Bush had acted
like it was the end of the world? Or gnashed his
teeth and wrung his hands ala jimmy carter?
No, I want my President looking Presidential. Calm
under all circumstances - then kicking the tail of
who-ever attacked U.S.
And I loved the masterful way Bush engineered the
overturning of Afghanistan - with a minimal investment
of American troops and resources.
I firmly believe invading Iraq was the correct next step.
Saddam Hussein was a proud sponsor of Islamic terrorists.
Note that after the U.S. conquered Iraq that Libya's Khaddafi
surrendered his WMD ambitions to the U.S. and Great Britain.
(Iran also temporarily buried their nuclear weapons program,
until a horse turd named Kerry committed treason.)
