I don't know why nobody has brought this up. Blasé Ford says that the only other girl at this party was Leland Ingham Keyser, who she calls a “lifelong friend.” Now, try to picture this in your head:
Blasé Ford was attacked by two very drunk guys. She thought she was going to be raped. At one point she thought she might actually die. However, she escaped... hung out in the bathroom until she heard them leave, then snuck down the stairs and out the front door... LEAVING HER LIFELONG FRIEND BEHIND, ALONE WITH THEM.
Does this make any kind of sense at all? What sort of a girl would do that? She not only didn't warn her friend, she didn't call the police to check on her. She just abandoned Leland Ingham Keyser.
I asked my wife about this. "Would you have done that to your friend?" I asked.
"No way," she said. No matter how scared I was, I'd have found someone to go back and get her.
clo and other Democrats think that Blasé Ford is some kind of a "hero." What do the rest of you think?
