I believe that all those who lost homes at the beach have no insurance, as insurance companies do not insure in such areas.

So, FEMA will have to come in.

It was good while it lasted for them, but if they can afford to rebuild, they have to do it like in Homestead after Andrew wiped it out, new code, much stronger tile and metal roofs, cement, etc.

Those homes in Mxico beach were built in the 50s and 60s, another era with little regulation and building code.

Now, we have to pay for them living by the beach in toothpick homes.
