My Darling Kathy,
The boardwalk here is made of cement.
Although, when I go to Back Bay (National Wildlife Refuge)
to take a long walk south along a deserted beach, I
have to walk along a wooden boardwalk to get through the
dunes to the beach.

One could say my preferred type of music is 'pop rock'.
Country and Western is (usually) too slow for me. Interestingly
enough, I enjoy a pop rock type format in a variety of
languages. I have some Philipino music, Chinese, Japanese,
a couple of German songs from an ex-pen pal . . . And
the only language I speak is American.

At the moment I am listening to some Edie Brickell.
"Shooting Rubber Bands at the Stars". Oh, wait, that
is the cover art . . the song itself is "Circle". Just
switched over to "Beat the Time".

A buddy of mine gave me a half a terabyte of music
files . . . there is more pop-rock in here than I
knew existed. Including Abba, Danielle Dax, kate Bush,
Laura Branigan, Vanessa Carlton . . . and many many
more.

(Yes, I like female voices singing in the background
while I play on the computer. Language is irrelevant.)

Zim.

My copy and paste is missing. Long nails will cause you to hit the wrong key. I only had to pay $60 bucks the last time I did this.

At least you got the name correct this time. Smile)

Hon, I am originally from NJ and I know ZERO about Country and Western music. However, a friend of mine sent me a link to one of his songs, thinking it would help my emotional state at the moment.

I can't stop playing "Remember When." My idea about country music was always something along the lines of "if you want to keep your six-pack cold, put it next to my ex-wife's heart" kind of thingee.

I have been to Virginia Beach several times. Beautiful place - can't remember if your boardwalk is made of cement, or if I am thinking of the boardwalk in Baltimore. I'll think of it and let ya know.

You have that horrible bridge/tunnel thing, omg. Can't say I saw much of it from the floor of my car, as I was so very scared!

What a relief that you finally found a place to eat. We were all so very worried. har har

I also remember when you posted (years ago) about hiking the Grand Canyon.

I don't have long-term memory problems, it's the short term memory that is shot right now.

Give Alan Jackson a try. Listen to the words.

Laughing
