OK, I've been there. We had friends that lived on the water in a condo and you could see that horrifying bridge. I'm getting my locations mixed up, so it must be the boardwalk in the Baltimore area where they sell Thrasher fries. .....or Ocean City, MD.....don't remember.

I have done that same walk through the dunes to the National Wildlife Refuge. Only once....I am not "at one with nature."

Just listen to that one song by Alan Jackson for me, please.

I have an Asian sister-in-law so I am familiar with some of the music you're referring to. If you have a link or two, I'll take 'em.

Personally, I think you should hire some female voices to sing in the background when you're at home playing on the computer.

Go to Hooter's, and just pick a few out for your enjoyment.

That is where Beldin posted my selfie. Smile))

My Darling Kathy,
The boardwalk here is made of cement.
Although, when I go to Back Bay (National Wildlife Refuge)
to take a long walk south along a deserted beach, I
have to walk along a wooden boardwalk to get through the
dunes to the beach.

One could say my preferred type of music is 'pop rock'.
Country and Western is (usually) too slow for me. Interestingly
enough, I enjoy a pop rock type format in a variety of
languages. I have some Philipino music, Chinese, Japanese,
a couple of German songs from an ex-pen pal . . . And
the only language I speak is American.

At the moment I am listening to some Edie Brickell.
"Shooting Rubber Bands at the Stars". Oh, wait, that
is the cover art . . the song itself is "Circle". Just
switched over to "Beat the Time".

A buddy of mine gave me a half a terabyte of music
files . . . there is more pop-rock in here than I
knew existed. Including Abba, Danielle Dax, kate Bush,
Laura Branigan, Vanessa Carlton . . . and many many
more.

(Yes, I like female voices singing in the background
while I play on the computer. Language is irrelevant.)

Zim.
