There have always been scamsters. Today, if one tries
to 'trade' in competition with the 'algos' . . Well, one
better be using a bigger faster computer able to read the
news and understand better. Else one will get clobbered.
Back before computers It was 'pump and dumpers' and
'churners' and I forget the clowns name, but he had
a free newsletter. He would say 'buy this' and the
fish would buy . . . then the price would drop. (After he had sold what he had of it - one of his favorites
Was Duke Energy . . . got me once. But only for a
few hundred dollar purchase.)
Price can go up . . price can go down . . but as long
as my dividend checks keep coming in I'm not going to
worry much over it.
