I am assuming these are batteries for your cordless phone?

I have Panasonic Phones. 4 to be exact. Why? Because mine have a feature that is "CALL BLOCK". if I get a call from someone I don;t recognize, I touch the CALL BLOCK button on my phone and that registers that number and it will never ring my phone again... One push and gone. Love it.

As to the batteries.
I get mine at WALMART. Buy some PANASONIC NiMh batteries. They are not expensive and you can be up and going in a few minutes. (NiMh are rechargeable batteries for phones)

They work just fine. I don;t replace with whatever came with the phones so if you can get whatever brand of NiMh rechargeable batteries, you should be fine.. They usually are AAA size. Let's nt make this too complicated. Its a battery. Just rechargeable and it does not have to be exact Amp hour rating either...

Been doing this for decades...

omg, dead cells. Sounds a little ominous to me.



Naah.
Nothing ominous. Means nothing more than what you
already know - you need new batteries. Kind of like
a flashlight - the battery goes dead and ya replace
it. (Or them.)

Rechargeable batteries will last for years . . . but,
eventually, even they 'die'. Won't take and hold a
good charge anymore . .

It's the nature of the beast. (And why electric cars
are not, in my opinion, a viable means for transportation.)
