This is called a "duplication" of knowledge. You just have "so much" room in your brain. Why should two people know all the same things? You memorize 50% and I'll memorize the other 50% - ask Micro or Ribit about their wives.
I just can not comprehend
how anyone who can internet and e-mail can not have
at least a basic grasp of how things are stored on
a computer.

I suspect they like to talk about problems, but never
actually solve them.
Men like to solve problems. Not talk about them.
I'm going to take a pass on this one. I am not like most women in almost every way. But I do agree that solving problems with computers is a male thing. I really don't care how something works as long as you can make it work. It's a male gene that we are lacking. I have stories about this, but another time.
