I was listening to a local radio sports show a couple weeks back. They were discussing Alabama defeating Arkansas 65-31.

First Guy: Alabama scored 65 points against Arkansas yesterday.

Second Guy: Yeah, but they gave up 31 on defense and that is the most points given up by an Alabama team in ages.

First Guy: They scored all the points late in the game against what was the tide's fourth team. Who Cares about that???

Second Guy: Nick Saban!

At Alabama the "high expectations" are for everyone.

The Buckeyes got their arses handed to them by the high and mighty Purdue Boilermakers yesterday evening.

In a pitiful excuse and display of high school football, the Buckeyes looked like they had never played football before and were shocked that the players on Purdue actually would try to beat them.

After all, it was Ohio State's RIGHT to win that game because they showed up in the stadium...

Here is one thing that most of these players don't get: that the players on the other team must have been better than most in high school in order to get recruited to Division 1 A college football and that those same players are not very behind YOU in ability. SO ya best bring yer A game every single game and every single play.

The Buckeyes deserved to lose. They were pitiful. Bring back the DAWGS. Oklahoma is looking pretty good right now also.

IN any event, Ohio State is NOT a top 5 football team and does NOT deserve to be in college football playoffs.

They apparently cannot come to a game prepared to play their best or their coaching staff is really inept in getting them ready, and likely a combination of both.

I was embarrassed to watch this debacle...

On the other hand, the TIDE looked like usual. They do not seem to have ups and downs. Must be the coaching..
