Trust me, ribit, I can't help but to think there is insanity in the family.

I live close to the GC and because of my problem with heights, I never had any desire to go there.

Just give me a driver and a blindfold.

NAP - seems to cure many a problem.

I have a cousin and a friend that want to hike the Grand Canyon from north rim to south rim.

...perhaps you can talk him into something more sensible like a nap. If not, tell him it is safer to walk around than across. If ya go across the first step is really huge.
