2018 is not a Census year.

There is, however, a Census Test underway. That must be what you experienced.

By law, you must respond to census surveys. I seriously doubt, though, that you are required to respond to census tests.

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

It's important to understand that not only do polls report the voting intentions of the people, they also affect the voter turnout. People like to vote for winners, and if they believe that their candidate or cause is going to lose, they are less likely to vote. Poll results therefore turn out to be self-fulfilling prophecies - which is why liberals so love to design polls that make themselves look like winners.

I will never trust another poll after 2016, that's for sure. For me. if I think my candidate is going to LOSE, I definitely go vote anyway.
What am I tawking about? I missed ONE election over the years. ONE, and I remember why.
========================================

Whenever possible, answer poll questions. Lie to every question including whether you are a conservative, EXCEPT for whether you are a likely voter. Be honest about that one. There is no better way than lying to eliminate polls as effective election manipulation tools. Over time, more people will see that poll results are nonsense and will not let predicted losses dissuade them from voting.

Nobody can persuade me NOT to vote, but I do see your point. The polls have to go!

De, recently I had this man come to my door. A little unrelated to your post, but the man was from the census bureau. It's 110 degrees out, and I am supposed to let him in? Question 1 - how many people live here? None of your business, or a dozen. You pick. #2 - what is your household income? Same answer, As he was asking me these questions, I am reading about this particular census survey. I see that answering is NOT mandatory. I tell him, FORGET IT. Do you want to know what he said? "..... What is your problem? ....." My reply: at the moment, it's you.

Oh, yeah, I am supposed to faint bec/ you're from the census bureau?

For two days in a row, another census taker arrives.

I don't answer the door.

I call the local phone # saying I don't want to participate.

Ultimately, I had to call the DC office.

They finally gave up, but it was a time-consuming effort and annoying waste of time.

What does this have to do with election polling?

Sorry, as the answer is NOTHING. I just felt like telling you that.

G/M!
