19986 from this, "
I hiked the Grand Canyon three times.
In 19986 and 1988 I hiked from the North Rim to the
South Rim - two days each time..."

Now, what is the proper way to phrase this? Would it be back to the future? OR ahead to the future? It's an obvious typo, but I couldn't resist! You must be training, not only for another Grand Canyon trek, but I guess you plan on living until the year 19986 ? Oh, ok, you only have 17,968 years to finish up that training!

guy was talking about how hiking across the Canyon
was almost a 'religious experience'

Oh, yes, it would be for me, too. I would probably be praying the whole time!

over 60

Seriously, hon, we are all in the heart attack stage. At what age would you stop?

Seriously, when you're walking, are you only watching out for snakes, or are you thinking? I would be thinking, about what, dunno. I mean, do you talk to a lot of people on the those trails, or are you just absorbed in your thoughts?

NACL told me to ask you this question. Smile))
HI, NACL!!
