Well, micro, the tawkers annoy me. I have done much reading about Viet Nam. You and ribit are very special to me. Rough time for this country and it makes the news of today seem meaningless, imo. I have always wanted to ask you if you visited the DC wall. Starts out slowly but becomes overwhelming as you make your way down...yes, it's on an incline. Very emotional and I mean VERY.

After all of the above you have the Marines. It is never wise or prudent to mess with current Marines in Uniform, physically fit and ready for battle. While the 2 former active duty Marines here are no longer in tip top shape, they, like so many others of us, are still able to fight better than most . So don't worry about the loud mouths.
I would feel better if you lived next-door! We went to Parris Island and watched some of the training there. I slept well that night! Whew, rough stuff, imo

The Navy Seals trained off of Anna Maria Island in Fl and I think they still do. I would go to the beach all times of the day and night to see if I could check them out. Duh, I was told that the purpose of them training there was not to be seen.
