Below are two copies of the same Cesar Sayoc photo. The one on the left is the original. The one on the right, which I found on Triple Fart, is the image that OCU now says "LOOKS like a WHITE guy" and which I assume he found being distributed by Fake News sites.
Do you see the differences?
First, the image on the right has been cropped to remove the ethnic hairstyle. Second, it has been lightened to make Cesar Sayoc appear more "white." It's subtle, but you can easily see it in the overlaid snippets of his black shirt (lower right corner). The first snippet is black. The second? Grey.
This has NBCs fingerprints all over it. Reminds me of what they did to the George Zimmeman recording. Someone photoshopped the Cesar Sayoc image.
