Kathy, you will never be a criminal. Write that on the board 100 times!
No, I would never be a criminal. You are right about that.
The nation's moral compass is a corrupted mess. Mine is not.
Our constitutional right to the "rule of law" and the presumption of innocence until proven guilty has been relegated to the scrap heap of political venom.
The despicable media frenzy that embraces as "true" an accusatory person's "you did this or that" without
any corroborative proof is what ANARCHY is defined as. The days of presumed innocence are gone.

So, starlight, while I think I could never be a criminal, I figure I could be presumed guilty just because someone else says so.
It is very much like the #metoo movement, wherein an accuser can ruin a man's life "just because." I have 3 brothers and they are all flirts. I told them they had better have witnesses around when they say, "hey, nice dress."
------------
Sensationalism based on innuendo and rumor without any foundation of truth has become our norm. It is deplorable. We have evolved into this!
I fear the day that I am standing outside a bank, just minding my own business while a robbery is taking place.
SO, YA JUST MIGHT GET TO SEE ME WITH MY MUG SHOT on t.v. yet.
If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.
