Piglosi makes a purely political play by rescinding the invitation for President Trump to deliver the annual State of the Union speech in the chamber of the House of Representatives.

Then, when it is suggested that President Trump could just as easily deliver this year's SOTU address in the Senate chamber ... or The White House ... or some other appropriate venue ... the infantile lil' tykes twist themselves into fits of rage that their addled heroine's ploy could be bypassed. And even worse, yet ... President Trump rescinds Piglosi's taxpayer-funded air travel via the U.S. military for her upcoming photo-op boondoggle to Brussels, Egypt, and Afghanistan. No, children ... it's way past time for you to grow up. So, Piglosi doesn't want to host the SOTU address because of the "government shutdown"? Okay ... live by the sword, die by the sword ... if the "government shutdown" is so dire, then the Speaker of the House doesn't need to be gallivanting around the world, either. If she is so, so worried about it, then Piglosi needs to stay here and do everything she can to end the political stand-off that has supposedly shut down the government.
