I did. I bought an electric Scott Wizzz spreader (I LOVE THAT KIND OF TAWK) for $20 bucks, and a 35 lb bucket of Calcium Chloride. I guess it was about $20 too. I put down about half a bucket on the driveway, then watched as the ice thinned and flowed to the side, laughed at me, then flowed back and froze where it was to begin with but a little bit thicker.
HOW COULD IT FLOW BACK? THICKER? NO WONDER MY EARS WERE RINGING! WHAT IS THE REASON IT FLOWED BACK? That issue must be addressed, so you can have the crud permanently removed. T'aint right for ice to be laffing at cha. There has to be a solution.
Got a picture? WANT ME TO POST IT? HAR HAR

The ice has a nice polished look to it now. Do they make that stuff for shoes?
FIRST YOU BUY A SHOE BRUSH, THEN YA DON'T NEED THE POLISH SO YOU'RE GOOD TO GO.
