I suspect you already know this . . .
But, find the 'Ctrl' key . . Find the 'Alt' key,
and find the 'Delete' key.

Hold down the Ctrl and the Alt keys then tap the
Delete key. Should come up with a place from which
you can restart the computer.

However, I did do this:

If your internet explorer has lots of tabs, you might
try just shutting down the internet explorer, then
re-opening it again and see if that doesn't fix it.
