The Obamacare tax penalty isn't dead yet

I THOUGHT IT HAD TO BE A TAX IN ORDER TO PASS MUSTER.

WAIT A SEC - SO THEY CALLED IT A FEE AND THE SUPREMES PUSHED IT THROUGH ANYWAY? HOW COULD THEY?

---

then the Supreme Court crammed a camel through
a needle to find it 'Constitutional'.)

THE HONEY AND I DISCUSSED THIS FOR MONTHS. I SAID, "IT'S GOING THROUGH." THE HONEY SAID, "OH NO, THE SUPREME COURT WOULD NEVER DO THAT."

I SOMEHOW TWISTED IT AROUND AND LET HIM WIN. IT WASN'T IMPORTANT ENOUGH TO ME TO WIN. IT WAS THE COUNTRY THAT LOST.
-----

primary
job for the Supreme Court should be to strike down
any and all Laws or Un-Constitutional actions taken by anyone.

IT SHOULD BE. WHAT DO YOU THINK THEIR SUCCESS RATE IS? I DON'T KNOW.
------------------

The way obozo-care was passed . . . the fact that congress NEVER
debated or even studied it . . . the fact that it had thousands of
little parts never even discussed . . . AND the fact that 'health care'
is NOT listed as a power or responsibility of the federal
government in the Constitution . . . SHOULD have had the Supremes tossing it out on its azz.

--------------------

OH, YOU HAVE TO PASS IT FIRST BEFORE YOU READ IT - I UNDERSTAND. ANYWAY, YOU ARE PREACHING TO THE CHOIR ON THIS PARAGRAPH. NO, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, ONCE AGAIN, IS SUPPORTING HEALTH CARE (OR SUPPLEMENTING IT) FOR EVERYONE THAT SHOULD HAVE A JOB WHERE IT IS PROVIDED.

TO NOT DEBATE A BILL THAT WAS 1/6th OF THE GDP.

I'll never get over it.

nice tawking to you - take care!

thx again for the help - everything is working now!

Kathy > I WILL NEVER GET OVER JOHN ROBERTS MAKING OBAMACARE A TAX SO THE LAW COULD BE PASSED.

As I recall, 'they' declared it was a 'fee' so that it would pass muster.
(Something about where tax laws must be begat meant it was Un-Constitutional
if it was a tax . . . then the Supreme Court crammed a camel through
a needle to find it 'Constitutional'.) (But, the responsibilities and
powers of the federal government are supposed to be limited to what
the Constitution says they can do - and health care is most assuredly
NOT among the power or responsibilities of the federal government.)

>>

Zim > C.) Congress - by an 80% majority (in both houses) should be able to remove a justice.

Kathy > OK, I AGREE WITH THIS. 80%? HMMMM, WE CAN'T GET EVEN ONE PERSON (ONE PERSON!!) TO NEGOTIATE A DEAL RE: ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. WHILE I ADMIRE YOUR SUGGESTION, THIS WOULD BE DIFFICULT, TOO.

Babe,
It SHOULD be very difficult to remove a Supreme Court
Justice. Just like amendments to the Constitution
should be very difficult to enact. But the primary
job for the Supreme Court should be to strike down
any and all Laws or Un-Constitutional actions taken by anyone.

The way obozo-care was passed . . . the fact that congress NEVER
debated or even studied it . . . the fact that it had thousands of
little parts never even discussed . . . AND the fact that 'health care'
is NOT listed as a power or responsibility of the federal
