Wednesday and Friday of this week I had to go to the doctor. Mz ribits brother had a heart attack, her brothers wife had a heart attack, her best friends husband went to the doctor to get his heart checked and they rolled his ass straight from the place where they tested him right into surgery. Mz ribit also lost her dad to a heart attack so she told me I was gettin mine checked whether I wanted to or not.
The first test of one of them things where they smear some kind of cream on ya and rub this thing around and it makes pictures on a screen which didn't tell me anything. I asked em if they could tell if it was a boy or a girl. Giggles and grins.
Friday they did an Atomic somethin or another where they put some kind of radiation in ya and then take pictures. Last night I was cuttin some atomic farts and they would knock a buzzard off a wagon load of intestines. In the waiting room there was me and 8 women of similar age. They had already outlived their husbands and I think they were sizing me up fot their next victim.
They had an idiot box in the waiting room and that HGTV thingy where they spend a million bucks on a house and then spend half as much as that again "renovating" it. The stars were two twin guys that I bet barney frank dreams about.
When I got back home I took mz ribit out to get a bite to eat and when I got back there was a message on my answering machine. I have Congestive Heart Failure.
The symptoms of congestive heart failure vary, but can include:
Fatigue
Diminished exercise capacity
Shortness of breath
Swelling (edema)
...hell I thought I was just fat and lazy.
Liberals are like a "Slinky". Totally useless, but somehow ya can't help but smile when you see one tumble down a flight of stairs!
