Hate to jump in here yet I am compelled to quickly share this.

IF anyone needs to loose weight I strongly urge you to read the recent books by Dr. Jason Fung - a Canadian nephrologist. The Obesity Code, The Diabetes Code and The Complete Guide to Fasting.

In a nutshell I am in the process of reversing my diabetes with a ketogenic diet and intermittent fasting. Dec 12 my fasting blood sugar was 264 - Dec 13 it was 270. I found The Diabetes Code on 12/13 and have implemented the discovery Dr. Fung has made. In 12 days I quit taking the
1,000mg of daily metformin because my blood sugar was 98 (FIRST double digit reading since being diagnosed 2 years ago) and I was so excited I forgot to take it and have not taken it since. In 6 weeks I have lost 22 pounds.

The medicinal community only wants clients - NOT cures. The American Diabetes Association says diabetes is a progressive incurable disease. That is 100% BS!! In fact I just took my blood sugar reading at it was 101.

I have the .pdf versions of the books I listed br Dr. Fung and anyone who wants a copy simply email me and I will gladly forward them. hydro_gen and I am on Yahoo.

In the next 4-5 months I will hit my target weight and my diabetes will be 100% reversed. it is not just weight loss - the fasting is the "magic" that has been used for thousands of years.
