Re: "Isosorbide mononitrate."I just realized that I posted info on isosorbide dinitrate instead of what you're on, isosorbide mononitrate. You'll be relieved to know that the info on the two is EXACTLY the same... except that after describing the brutal headaches, the mononitrate description also says: "If you think these headaches are bad, take comfort that you haven't had to take isosorbide dinitrate. It's only given to patients who've had surgery."

Speaking of which, I'm looking forward to your successful surgery and recuperation. Here's to hoping that the nurse who will be giving you your sponge baths is a "Maria" and not a "Don". (Then again, after they do that thing where they remove your groin and stick in a wire, maybe you won't care.) If you decide post-op that you don't want to share the scar photos, I assure you we'll understand. Rolling Eyes
