Re: "But I'm still thinking Oklahoma. (And retiring.)"
If you are retiring, why do you care about the job situation? Or are you just expressing pride in your state - in which case I totally understand.

As for your choice of Oklahoma, I can only say that I'm completely satisfied with my retirement choice. But then I spent 13 years mulling it over. If there'd been a reason to go with another state, I had more than enough time to figure that out. Out of curiosity, why Oklahoma? I know one guy who went there, built a house, and soon absolutely HATED the place. He said, if you aren't a Southern Baptist, the people there will as soon kill you as give you the time of day.

Now, I'm reasonably sure you are not a Southern Baptist. So is the lack of acceptance you might encounter in certain states something you've already considered?

Gold is $1,581/oz today. When it hits $2,000, it will be up 26.5%. Let's see how long that takes. - De 3/11/2013 - ANSWER: 7 Years, 5 Months

Virginia is Number 3.

Sweet.

But I'm still thinking Oklahoma.

(And retiring.)

West Virginia is 44 and Louisiana is dead last.

Zim.
