Rattlers? Yep ... on both sides of the Red River. Lots of annual rattlesnake roundups in both Oklahoma and Texas. Rattlesnake is good eatin' ... tastes like chicken, of course.

I did a quick study and determined that there are no beaches. Lots of sand, but no beaches. Once I went on a road trip out west to see the Grand Canyon and we drove thru Oklahoma. Stopped at a souvenir shop and they had every kind of thing that could be made out of a rattlesnake. Appears that there are an abundance of rattlers in Oklahoma. Maybe not as many as in Washington DC, but a lot of them.
